1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the MediChat platform ("Service"), you ("User," "you," or "Subscriber") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You may only use MediChat if you:
- Are a licensed healthcare professional in good standing under the laws of your jurisdiction
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
We reserve the right to require proof of professional licensure at any time and to suspend accounts where eligibility cannot be verified.
3. Description of Service
MediChat is a communication workflow and automation tool that:
- Integrates with WhatsApp Business accounts to manage patient messaging
- Provides AI-generated draft responses for review and approval by the licensed professional
- Offers voice model creation using audio recordings provided by the licensed professional
- Provides message history and communication analytics
MediChat does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. It does NOT prescribe medication or medical procedures. It does NOT replace the professional judgment of a licensed healthcare provider. It is NOT a telemedicine platform or Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. All AI-generated content is a draft only and must be reviewed, edited, and approved by the licensed professional before sending.
4. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately at hello@rentesy.com if you suspect unauthorized access
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts where security compromise is suspected
5. Subscription, Billing, and Payments
5.1 Subscription Plans
MediChat is offered on a subscription basis. Plan details, pricing, and features are described on our pricing page.
5.2 Payment
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your provided payment method on the billing cycle selected.
5.3 Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial ends. We will provide advance notice before charging.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting hello@rentesy.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-period cancellations, except where required by law.
5.5 Refunds
Refunds are provided at our sole discretion except where required by applicable consumer protection law. Payment disputes must be raised with us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider.
5.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not use the Service to provide unsupervised medical advice, violate professional codes of conduct, circumvent security features, reverse engineer the platform, or violate WhatsApp Business or Meta's policies. 7. Data and Privacy
7.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service.
7.2 Patient Data
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have obtained all necessary patient consents and authorizations required by applicable law (including HIPAA, GDPR, India's DPDPA, or other applicable regulations) before processing patient data through the Service.
7.3 Voice Data
Voice recordings submitted for model training are used exclusively to create your personalized voice model. You represent that you have the right to submit such recordings and that they were recorded with your own voice.
7.4 Data Processing Agreement
Where applicable, our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) forms part of these Terms and governs our processing of personal data on your behalf.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, trademarks, and content created by MediChat, is owned by Rentesy Softwares Private Limited or its licensors. These Terms grant you only the limited license to use the Service as described herein.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use such feedback without compensation to you.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 No Medical Advice
The service does not provide medical advice. All AI-generated content is a draft communication aid only and does not constitute professional medical judgment. The licensed professional is solely responsible for all clinical decisions and patient communications.
9.2 Service Provided "As Is"
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
9.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall MediChat, its affiliates, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rentesy Softwares Private Limited and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any patient claim arising from communications sent through the platform.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including WhatsApp (Meta), Supabase, Vercel, and AI providers. Your use is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third-party providers.
11. Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, legal risk, or as required by law.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Class action participation is waived to the maximum extent permitted by law.
